I have been an extremely absent blogger these last few months. It has been busy and crazy around here and I just haven’t been able to get back on track and back writing. But here I am. Right in time for the end of the school year. Better late than never? Maybe. I have so many photos of field trips and classroom activities that are collecting dust in my camera. I will be uploading them soon. We are almost at the end of the term here- another week and then its class photos and our year end party. The year has flown by, as it always does- the last few months in particular- I feel like I blinked and they were gone. I have to say goodbye to some students this year as they move into kindergarten and grade one- I have had their families with me for a long time and taught their siblings as well- it will be sad to say goodbye. I’ve been thinking alot about that lately- wondering if someday I will hear from a student who started with me, and remembers me, and comes back for a visit when they are all grown. How wonderful that would be! Coming up to the end of the school year is definitely bittersweet- everyone is excited about summer break (me too!), but I know I have to say goodbye to little ones whom I have spent the last year or two or three with.
