It’s here! We wrapped up our fall semester at the end of last week with a little party celebration and parent conferences. The kids had SO much fun- everyone created treat bags to exchange during a game, we played in the gym, had an indoor snowball fight, watched Frosty the Snowman, ate treats, got presents and said bye to our friends until the new year. We had spent the last few weeks working on our “Holidays Around the World” unit, (while many of the little ones battled the colds and flu bouncing around our city right now.) One of our amazing moms sent in an “Advent Calendar of Books!”- each day we would open up a gift bag together and find out what book we were going to get to read that day during quiet circle. It was a highlight of every day! Thanks Amelia!
I would like to send out a thank you to all the amazing parents of our little ones. Some beautiful and meaningful gifts were given to us as teachers and I want to make sure you know how much it means. We are truly blessed to be able to share our space and our lives with you and your families.
This week is lots of preparation for when we return on January 3rd- lesson and work planning, catch up on paperwork and getting us all revved up and ready to learn again in the new year, then next week I’m going to try and sleep in at least past 6 am every day. 🙂
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our families, friends and loved ones. May it be a beautiful and peaceful holiday season, and a kick butt kinda 2017!
